Right now watching Fr Stu… just started at the Mosaic.. not sure what I will think?

Here is a thought.. as someone who has struggled with weight.. the fact that Matt W gained 25 pounds just to play the role for Fr Stu.. tell me that Matt W.. really believed in his role as Ft Stu..

As a priest i find so much humor in this movie…I don’t think I have laugh in a movie in a long time. To be fair.. only a priest might see the humor.. It is so funny.. from a priest point of view…

An hour into it.. he is baptized went to confession. Had accident.. saw Mother Mary.. on the way to becoming a priest..
To be Fair.. maybe… only a priest might see the humor.. but see grace Virgin Mary prayers.

It is the story of a very unlikely person becoming a priest.. I think I see myself.. I would never have picked me to be a priest.: but here we are..

I am not sure I would recommend this movie to a person we’re everything was good Willy white.. good.. but if you can believe that God can choose anyone.. this movie might be for you..

I have long felt.. those whom the Lord calls is very different from what we might choose..

In a vocation most important question.. did God call this man.. to the priesthood.

Often a man.. might look like he would be the perfect priest.. only problem God did not call him.. another.. he might have almost none of the gifts what we look for in some vocational office.. but God called him.

When it comes to discernment I ask the question.. did God call this man..

Next month I will be 26 years a priest May 18 1996… I am the most unlikely of priests.. the fact that I am still standing as a priest is Grace.. God can use anyone.. I believe I will die as priest but that is only because of Grace.. while my story is different from Fr Stu.. i was never an athlete.. but God can work with anything.

Give me a sinner saved by grace than a perfect person that has everything figured out..

Like Fr Stu.. I would never have chosen myself as a priest.. but here I am at 26 years.. most mean that God did choose me..
With grace all is possible…

St Francis said ‘that God can use the most unworthy of instruments to show the power of His Grace.’

I can understand that most diocese would not ordained a Stu.. to many issues.. bur question remains ‘did God call this man to the pristhood?’

His girlfriend believes in Stu.. she is the hero in that she loves Jesus more than in her desires..She is the real deal..

A man can become a priest if thete are people around him who are the real deal.

Sometimes a very imperfect person that God uses to bring people to Hope in grace and forgiveness..

In the end I am sure many people will diisliike this movie because of language.. but as a flawed priest helped me see that suffering pain is the raw material that makes us a saint..it is not how we start that matters but how we end.. in the end Grace and Mercy have the final word..
